Starting from Piazza Castello with the two most famous Madame of ‘600, Cristina di Francia and Maria Giovanna di Savoia, women who brought Parisian fashion, shows, artists and architects in Turin. The cornerstones of the Baroque, Palazzo Madama was the residence of Maria Giovanna! She was “La Bela Rosin” duting 1800 (Rosa Vercellana), a lover and then she married King Vittorio Emanuele II.
